Conservation & Social Responsibility

As avid travelers with deep connections to Africa, we have a personal, vested interest in protecting this spectacular continent. We are committed to supporting communities through partnerships with camps that benefit locals through employment and purchasing goods grown nearby; providing fair wages to guides; fostering authentic cultural exchanges; and directly funding charitable projects.

Recently, for example, we have undertaken a project to create three wells in Zambia, providing clean water to hundreds of local villagers. Similarly, we’re dedicated to conservation through visits with organizations that are working to protect African wildlife, like the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Elephant Orphanage.

We select camps that support conservation by creating nature conservancies in the land surrounding them. We also seek to educate travelers by selecting only the most experienced naturalist guides.

Finally, we make a donation on behalf of every guests to charitable initiatives in Africa that we have personally vetted, ensuring that your trip with CW Safaris will provide benefits for generations to come.
